replacement shall be replaced only by parts
equivalent as to safety with those used in the
original design.”

electronic components may invalidate a truck’s
UL EE or LPS listing and could pose a safety risk.
Customers with UL-listed lift trucks are solely
responsible for ensuring compliance with UL for
field modifications. The selection of non-OEM parts
is made solely by the customer with the awareness

certification, if any, the non-OEM parts have
undergone and disclaims all warranties and
